Cognitive development
Jean Piaget, renowned for his work in child psychology, was around kids for most of his life. Children between the ages of 2/3 to 7 are said to be in the second of fourth, or preoperational, stage of development. The hallmarks of this stage are language development, pretending, and beginning to understand symbols; however, there's still a lot that children in this stage, especially the early end of the age group, cannot understand. Such things are other's points of views -- sometimes one may think that a child is being extraordinarily rude, while they honestly don't understand that you have a perspective. It's difficult to understand logic and to manipulate information.
Our goal is to develop these burgeoning abilities and to introduce the children to new concepts.

We integrate all the skills into interesting themes! These themes help with the growth of the kids' interpretation and memory skills. At the end of every month, there's an "assessment" where the kids are encouraged to create a little project to apply some of their skills to, and parents are invited to help their child.
